Green Moa is Manawatu's newest start-up offering complete lawn and garden maintenance for our busy customers. We are locally-owned and operated, with a focus on eco-friendly practices using electric tools and environmentally-friendly sprays and fertilisers.

We provide full lawn care including mulching, catching and edging, as well as complete garden maintenance; hedge trimming, pruning, spraying, planting, weeding, and more. Green Moa is also available for odd jobs, section clean-ups, and seasonal garden work.

About Us

Green Moa is owned and operated by Manawatu man Morgan Weaver. After 10+ years in the corporate world, coupled with the sudden diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes, Morgan decided that life was too short to not do what you love every day. And what Morgan loved… was being outdoors mowing lawns and tending to his garden.

Morgan is passionate about lawn care and keeping gardens healthy and beautiful. He will treat your property as if it were his own. Friendly and professional, Morgan is always happy to stop for a chat or offer some gardening advice. He is fully committed to offering the highest quality work to his customers.

Morgan is an avid rose grower and chooses to use environmentally-friendly sprays and fertilisers as much as possible. Green Moa also uses all electric tools from AEG – lawn mower, hedge trimmer, leaf blower, chainsaw, edge trimmer etc – which not only reduces the harm on the environment but is quieter and more cost-effective for our customers.

Morgan and his wife Kelly own a property in Hokowhitu. They have a German Shepherd puppy and a consistently grumpy cat. They moved to Palmerston North in 2008 and aside from two years spent on their OE in London they have called the Manawatu home ever since.

From simply mowing your lawn to a complete overhaul of your gardens, Green Moa can do it all!

Green Moa's weekly payment plans are a cost effective way of paying for regular lawn and garden maintenance and guarantee you a minimum number of x20 visits per year with an ideal visit ratio of once per fortnight.

Included in these base plans is your lawns mowed, edges tidied, all green waste generated during the visit removed and a allocated amount of gardening time where we will tackle the jobs you cant get to regularly such as weed spraying, pruning, trimming, weeding, all depending on your property's needs.

These plans are designed to work along side you to help you keep your homes lawns and gardens looking great.

Our fortnightly visits are created for our busy customers who do not have the time, or desire, to spend hours in the garden maintaining their property. Let Green Moa help take care of it for you. Starting from $25 a week you can rest easy knowing your lawns and gardens will be cared for and looking good!
